KENOSHA, WI - The Parkside Rangers welcomed Grand Valley State University into De Simone Arena on Friday night. GVSU took control directly out of the gates and didn't look back.

Throughout the duration of the match, Parkside did one thing very consistently. That one thing is that they fought. In th first set, there were seven lead changes in the set alone. Eventually, GVSU prevailed late and won the set. Elle Truckenbrod and Sam Fisch had three kills each in the opening set.
In all, Parkside was defeated in three sets (21-25, 22-25, 21-25). GVSU was very efficient hitting (.221), while UWP hit just (.030). Parkside continued to serve well, collecting eight aces and only three service aces.
