GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. --- The Parkside Rangers baseball team concluded their four-game series with the Davenport Panthers on Sunday afternoon. Davenport scored early and the Rangers were unable to rally, falling 16-8.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Four Rangers finished with multi-hit performances, led by
Ryan Brouch and
Noah Tyrrell with three hits each.

Davenport scored the first nine runs of the game over the first three innings before Parkside could get on the scoreboard in the top of the fourth. With one out and Emanuel Andujar Ferreria and Brouch on base
Reece Homan doubled to left field on a 1-1 pitch, scoring two, pulling Parkside within 9-2.

The Panthers continued to score over the next two innings while Parkside plated one on a sac fly in the fifth. Trailing 14-3, the Rangers were able to plate four in the top of the seventh.
Max Bruff, Andujar Ferreira ,and
Joe Prudhom all earned RBIs during the run.

Parkside plated one final run in the eighth but would fall by a final score of 16-8.
