KENOSHA, Wis. - Haley Remington of the Parkside softball team has been named the GLIAC Player of the Week, the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced on Monday.
Remington went on an offense tear for the Parkside Rangers this past weekend. In a pair of victories for the Rangers, Remington went six for eight with four runs and an RBI. The sophomore from Elkhorn, Wis. improved her batting average on the year to a team-leading .346.
The Rangers earned a doubleheader sweep over the Ferris State Bulldogs on Saturday, earning a 10-2 victory in the opener and finishing the day with an 8-2 win in the finale.
