The Hawks would get one run back in the bottom of the fourth as a run scored on a ground out to shortstop.

Maza kept the offense rolling in the fifth inning with a homerun to left field, giving the Rangers a 5-2 lead. Akey would then single up the minddle to score Medlin and the Rangers lead grew to four. The Hawks got one run back in the sixth, but the Rangers would hold on to earn the win.

HEAR FROM COACH ORTMAN
"A great bounce back day for us offensively! We struggled to get the bats going for most the weekend, and I feel like we came out with more aggression and had smarter at bats today. Kiley had another solid day on the mound in game one and Olivia was electric in game two. We get some time off now to recharge and get ready for the MWSU tournament!"
