GAME ONE
In the first game of Sunday's doubleheader, the Rangers were set for a seven-inning game with senior
Chris Conrad on the mound. In the top of the first inning, sophomore
Angel Rades earned a four-pitch leadoff walk. Freshman
Camden Kearney advanced Rades with a single but Rades was caught stealing third in the ensuing at bat. Following a hit by pitch taken by junior
Daniel Llanas, it was senior
Max Bruff who cleared the bases with a three-run home run.
Conrad held the Warriors scoreless through the first three innings before allowing one run in the fourth. Conrad's day on the mound ended after four and one-third innings pitched allowing two earned runs on four strikeouts and four walks. Senior
Andrew Sumner came in relief for Conrad in the fifth as the Warriors tacked on two more runs to make it a 3-3 game.
In the top of the sixth inning, it was Llanas who got started with a one-out double to right center. Junior
Emanuel Andujar Ferreira came in clutch with a pinch-hit two-out double to score Llanas and give the Rangers a 4-3 lead. The Rangers lead was short lived as the Warriors quickly tied the game 4-4 in the bottom half of the sixth.
Sophomore
Maguire Delagrave came in to pitch in the seventh where he faced three batters before being replaced by redshirt sophomore
Kaleb Schulist. With two runners on, the Warriors hit a walk-off home run to end the game 7-4.

GAME TWO
Rades once again got the game started for the Rangers with a leadoff walk followed by yet another Kearney single that would score Rades due to a Warriors fielding error. Bruff also followed suit with a double which scored Kearney to give the Rangers an early 2-0 lead.
Sophomore
Noah Gerritson got the start in game two for the Rangers, making his team-leading fourth start of the season. Gerritson allowed one run in the second followed by six more in the second before his day was finished with one and two-thirds innings pitched. Junior
Charlie Campbell came in relief for Gerritson as he allowed one run on two and a third innings pitched.
Sophomore
Juan Maldonado had the longest pitching appearance for the Rangers in game two with three innings pitched allowing four runs on four hits. The Ranger bats were still prevalent as the Rangers managed to get nine hits, thanks to a three-hit performance from Kearney in game two.
14 Rangers made plate appearances in game two but the Rangers weren't able to capitalize on any more runs after the first inning as they fell 15-2 in the nine inning contest.
