The Rangers were able to gather three hits in the seven inning game, two of which came in the home half of the second inning with singles coming from redshirt senior Ryan Brouch and freshman Michael Zordani. The Rangers broke the ice in the bottom of the fifth inning when senior Bryce Inman hit a double down the right field line, scoring senior Noah Tyrrell.

The Panthers runs in the fourth inning while Bronkhorst was pitching was the final time that Davenport for the rest of the game as the Panthers came away with a 5-1 victory.

Three Rangers came in relief of Bronkhurst including sophomore Maguire Delagrave, sophomore Matt Felske, and redshirt sophomore Kaleb Schulist. Delagrave faced two batters and walked both before being replaced by Felske who went one and a third innings with two walks and no runs allowed. Schulist pitched the final inning for the Rangers where he faced the minimum of three batters, striking out one.

GAME TWO

Junior Daniel Llanas pitched the second game of the doubleheader that went the full nine innings. Llanas went four innings allowing two runs on six hits while striking out six. Llanas left the game following the top of the fourth inning while the Rangers lead 3-1. Llanas was credited with no decision as the Panthers would once again take the lead in the top of the sixth inning.

The Ranger bats got the second game started early as they took a 1-0 lead following a bases loaded sacrifice fly off the bat of Llanas, scoring sophomore Angel Rades. The Panthers tied the game with a run of their own in the top of the fourth before the Rangers tacked on two more runs to take a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the fourth inning. Rades hit a bases loaded single scoring Brouch while freshman Camden Kearney hit a fielders choice back to the pitcher which scored senior Reece Homan.

The Panthers scored five runs in the fourth and fifth innings to give them a 6-3 lead while senior Sean Sodaro came in relief for the Rangers. Kearney and Zordani pitched the final three and a third innings without allowing any runs.

In the home half of the eighth inning, the Rangers tied the game 6-6 with three runs on three hits. A double from Homan put two runners in scoring position with a double down the left field line before senior Max Bruff walked to load the bases. Rades added another RBI with a groundout to first base. Kearney knocked a two-RBI single which ultimately tied the game.

In the bottom half of the ninth inning, with the game tied, junior Andrew Harris hit a one-out single which brought up Ryan Brouch. Brouch hit a clutch double down the right field line that scored speedy Harris to give the Rangers a 7-6 comeback victory. Zordani is credited with the win as Brouch and Homan lead the team with two hits in the second contest.
