KENOSHA, Wis. --- The Parkside baseball team defeated the Lakeland University Muskies by a final score of 6-2 on Wednesday night.
Sean Sodaro was dominant on the mound, working seven innings in relief while allowing just one run on four hits.

Michael Zordani was 2-3 at the plate, hitting a two-run home run over the left field fence in the third.

Noah Tyrrell went 3-4 with two runs scored. He also stole a base.

Camden Kearney each had two hits.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Sodaro was nearly unhittable in seven innings of relief, allowing just one run on four hits while striking out five. Zordani worked the first two innings of the day, allowing one run on two hits.

Lakeland struck first when a leadoff double was able to come around to score on a wild pitch. Parkside clawed back in the third. With one out Rades reached on an infield single. Two errors then put Rades at third. He then came into score on an infield single by Kearney. One out later Zordani launched an 0-1 pitch over the left field fence for a two-run homer, giving Parkside a 3-1 lead.

The Muskies got a run back in the top of the fourth on a solo homer to left. However, the Rangers were able to extend their lead again in the fifth. Kearney led off the inning with a double, then came into score one out later a sac fly by Zordani. Parkside then extended their lead to 5-2 on an RBI groundout by Kearney in the sixth.

Parkside added on one more insurance run in the eighth, with Tyrrell coming around to score on a Rades single up the middle.
