Kenosha, Wis - It was Alumni Day at De Simone Arena for the Parkside Rangers on Saturday. Parkside hosted Benedictine University and got the job finished at home, winning 86-55.

How it happened:
Parkside and Benedictine remained close for the beginning stages of the opening half. However, as the half marinated Parkside grabbed control and never let it go. Colin O'Rourke picked up where left off from a game ago, he had eight first half points. Josiah Palmer found his rhythm and didn't miss a shot from beyond the arc in the half. He finished 3-3 from beyond the arc, and his third make beat the buzzer to end the half. Parkside went into the break with a 16-point lead.
Parkside ran away with the contest in the second half and added some flare, outsourcing Benedictine 41-26 in the final half.
Nick Brown, the junior, began to heat up and went 3-3 from three-point range. Brown added a monster slam dunk to his highlights, bringing an explosion of energy to De Simone Arena. In the process of the blowout, Parkside had ten players record a basket.
Javon Johnson made his season debut and dished out an impressive five assists in just 11 minutes.
