The Rangers advanced to the next round of the tournament after they defeated No. 3 Michigan Tech in upset fashion in a come from behind 2-1 victory. On tap for UWP is a semifinal matchup against the Grand Valley State Lakers up in the Upper Peninsula at NMU Soccer Field. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. EST.Â

SCOUTING GRAND VALLEY STATEÂ
The Lakers enter the semifinal match after defeating No. 7 Davenport on Monday in a 1-0 scoreline. The Lakers lone goal came from a converted penalty kick by Taylor Reid. Outside of the lone goal the Lakers were able to outshoot the Panthers 12-8 and were able to put over half of their shots on goal with 7. Â
The last time the Rangers and Lakers faced each other the match ended in a 0-0 draw back on October 27th. Izzy Guyer picked up the clean sheet in an 11 save effort, her most total saves in a single game this season. Â
The Rangers will look to beat the Lakers for the fourth time in program history. The Rangers are 3-13-1 against the Lakers all time. The last time Parkside beat Grand Valley State was last season in Kenosha in a 3-1 decision. Two goals from Alexis Baker and a goal from Makayla Wesemann accounted for the Rangers' three goals in the match.Â
