SCOUTING MARYVILLE

The Rangers and Saints will meet up again for the first time since September 10th where the Rangers dropped a 4-1 decision down in St. Louis. The two squads also met up last season in the NCAA tournament in the third round. The game was also a dropped decision for the Rangers in a 2-0 scoreline.

The Saints, members of the GLVC, went 10-3-5 this season. Maryville finished fifth overall in their conference and had a first round exit in the GLVC Tournament at the hands of McKendree. The Saints recent bid into the NCAA Tournament now makes it the program's sixth straight, the best current active streak in the region.

The Saints have a few players to look out for. They had three players honored by the GLVC as All Conference members. Of those three are two midfielders in Tim Smith and Mason Crew. Smith tallied a GLVC leading 23 points on the season. The other All Conference member is defender Alberto Di Pierri. The Italy native totaled 1,351 minutes and helped the Saints to nine shutouts throughout the course of the season.
