Alejandro Martinez proved to be pivtoal as the Rangers come away with yet another GLIAC victory, stretching their win streak to five games.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rangers drew blood first in the 36th minute of action.
Alejandro Martinez played a ball to
Edgar Heredia Victoria a couple feet outside the 18-yard box. Heredia Victoria was completely unmarked and took a touch and laced the ball into the top right corner of the goal to put the Rangers up 1-0. Heredia Victoria now has four goals on the year, good enough for second best on the team in that category.
The Rangers weren't finished scoring. In the 56th minute of play
Edgar Heredia Victoria found himself with the ball at his feet and passed it square to none other than Parkside leading goal scorer
Alejandro Martinez. Martinez did was he does best and took a touch and sent a low driven ball passed the outstretched arms of the Wildcats goalkeeper. Martinez now leads the Rangers in the goal scoring category with five.
