BIG RAPIDS, Mich. - The Parkside women's soccer team returned to action on Sunday afternoon at Ferris State. The Rangers coming off a 0-2 loss at Saginaw Valley, were looking to gain some ground in the GLIAC race against the Bulldogs. The Rangers weren't able to overcome the Bulldogs two goals as they fall 1-2.

- Emily Mikkelson bagged her third goal on the season.
- Izzy Guyer got the starting nod in goal, tallying seven saves.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The scoring got started for Ferris State late in the first half. The Bulldogs scored in the 39th minute just before the end of the first half to go up 0-1. The scoreline at the end of the first half remained 0-1 in favor of Ferris State. The scoring resumed in the 62nd minute for the Bulldogs as they added to their lead 0-2.
Emily Mikkelson quickly answered for the Rangers just three minutes later. Mikkelson got the ball from
Bella Zink and danced around some Bulldogs and fired a shot in the top left corner of the goal to bring the Rangers closer 2-1.
The Rangers looked to find an equalizer late. The best change came from sophomore
Alair Posard with a few minutes and change left in the game. Posard put a great shot on frame but was saved by the Bulldog keeper. The Rangers failed to find the equalizer as the scoreline remained 2-1 as the final.
