A LOOK AT THE STATS

Robin Hermann started in goal for the Rangers, making some crucial saves late to keep the Cardinals off the board.

HEAR FROM COACH ZITZKE
"I thought that was a pretty good Division II soccer game today. It was a pretty equal match where we had a couple opportunities in each half and so did they. Their keeper made a couple big saves and our keeper did as well. Both defenses were really organized as they battled and hung in there. There was some really good attacking play from both teams. I feel that walking away from this game that it was a pretty fair result. On our side, I was happy with how our defense played, especially the five guys in the back. I thought Robin in goal made a couple huge saves. Hopefully if we can play like we did today for 90 minutes, we should be able to compete in each game. We have another important contest next week at Northern Michigan and we will be preparing for that."
