WHITEWATER, Wis. – The Parkside track & field team hit the road to compete at the UW-Whitewater Invite on Saturday, April 23. The Rangers looked to fine tune before heading into the final stretch of their schedule.
WOMEN'S RESULTS
Grace Mildice placed second in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:11.45.
Katie Scott placed third in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:50.95.
Carolin Bothe placed fifth with a time of 5:02.26.
Victoria Lendal increased her school record in the triple jump with a third-place finish with a jump of 11.05 meters.
Anna Kluever placed fifth with a jump of 9.85 meters.
Emily Elford placed third in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.41 seconds.
Emily Schubert placed sixth with a time of 12.91 seconds. The two returned to finish second and seventh in the 200-meter dash with Elford finishing in 25.76 and Schubert finishing in 27.10.
Iyana Simmons placed fourth in the high jump with a height of 1.53 meters.
Amber Tomazevic finished fifth in pole vault with a height of 3.39 meters.
MEN'S RESULTS
Uriah Aili and
Walker Miller went 1-2 in the 1,500-meter run, with Aili finishing in 3:58.79 and Miller finishing in 4:04.45.
Nic Davy won the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.39 seconds. He went on to win the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.64.
Austin Depuydt won the 800-meter run with a time of 1:56.58.
Konner Akey placed seventh with a time of 2:04.66.
The 4x400 meter relay team brought home the win in a time of 3:25.50.
Thomas Doherty placed second in the men's high jump with a height of 1.93 meters. Harpreet Rooprai placed seventh with a height of 1.68 meters.
Tommy Martin finished second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.01.
Sean Waldvogel placed seventh with a time of 51.34.
Wil Kiley placed second in the 5,000 meters with a time of 16:34.42.
Elijah Fairbanks placed third in the triple jump with a jump of 12.35 meters.
UP NEXT FOR THE RANGERS
The Rangers will split their roster and travel to three separate meets next weekend. The Rangers will compete at the Drake Relays, Simpson College, and UW-Whitewater starting on Thursday, April 28. The GLIAC Championships are scheduled for May 5-7 in Allendale, Mich.
