Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

Bohr Leads Rangers Past Northern Michigan

Parkside 73, Northern Michigan 52
KENOSHA, Wis. – The Parkside women's basketball team hosted the Northern Michigan Wildcats for the first time this season.   The Rangers looked to start the season series strong against the Wildcats, after losing both games in the series last season.  The Rangers got hot early on, and held on to their lead the rest of the way for a big win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rangers got out to an early 22-9 lead, with freshman Sheridan Flauger hitting a buzzer-beater three to end the first quarter.  The Rangers rode a strong second quarter from Kayla Bohr, who scored five points in the quarter, to go into halftime with a 39-25 lead. The Rangers did not let up coming out of the break. Alyssa Nelson led the way to a 16-3 run to open the quarter and increase the Rangers lead to 27 points halfway through the third. The Rangers would out score the Wildcats 24-11 in the third quarter
