Box Score Northwood 96, Parkside 91
MIDLAND, Mich.- The Parkside women's basketball team traveled to Michigan for their regular season finale against the Northwood Timberwolves. The Rangers got out to a cold start and let the Timberwolves build a big lead. Despite a strong second half, the Rangers could not quite gain enough momentum to get ahead and stay ahead of Northwood.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Timberwolves jumped out to an early lead at the end of the first quarter and rode it into halftime leading 52-45. Alyssa Nelson led the Rangers through the third quarter with 7 points and the Rangers built up momentum and led by one point, before a surge to end the quarter by the Timberwolves. The Rangers outscored the Timberwolves in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough to overcome the deficit.

A LOOK AT THE STATS
Nelson added another milestone to her impressive campaign, as she scored 16 points and broke the Parkside single season scoring record in the process. She and Hannah Plockelman led the Rangers with 16 points. Kayla Bohr and Alexis McNack each finished with 13 points, a career high for McNack. McKenzie Todd led the way for the Timberwolves with 20 points.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Rangers will enter the GLIAC tournament as the 5 seed and will face the 4 seed Michigan Tech on Wednesday, Mar. 2.
