KENOSHA, Wis.- The Parkside Rangers returned home to begin their final homestand of the 2022 campaign. Their first matchup of the series featured the Bulldogs of Ferris State. It was a special night for the Rangers, as the team recognized Alyssa Nelson for scoring her 1,000^th career point back on Nov. 18. The Rangers pulled out to a strong lead in the second quarter and rode it to their seventh straight win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rangers got out to a slow start and ended the first quarter trailing 11-8. The shots began to fall in the second quarter, as Hannah Plockelman and Sheridan Flauger combined for 20 points, leading the Rangers to a 36-26 lead. The Rangers continued to dominate in the third quarter, outscoring the Bulldogs 23-14, extending their lead to 19 points. The Bulldogs began to inch closer in the fourth quarter, but the Rangers defense stood strong and secured the win.

A LOOK AT THE STATS
Plockelman led the way with 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists. Flauger finished with a career high 15 points, along with 3 rebounds and 4 assists. Nelson scored 12 points while grabbing 8 rebounds and earning 5 assists. As a team, the Rangers shot 44% while limiting the Bulldogs to a 33% shooting percentage. Adrienne Anderson led the Bulldogs with 20 points.

WHAT'S NEXT
