Northern Michigan 47, Parkside 35
KENOSHA, Wis. - The Parkside women's basketball team hosted the Northern Michigan Wildcats on Saturday in De Simone Arena. It was a tough defensive battle the whole way, but the Wildcats used the offensive glass to create enough extra shots to pull away from the Rangers in the end.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Paty Gallasova got off to a hot start with four points in the first quarter, as the Rangers trailed 14-8 after the first ten minutes. The Wildcats had their longest scoring streak of the game, scoring eight straight points in the first quarter. Both teams went cold offensively in the second quarter, with the Wildcats outscoring the Rangers 7-5 in the period. The rangers went into the half down eight points. Both teams came out stronger in the second half. Northern Michigan took the third quarter 3-12, extending their lead to 34-25 heading into the fourth quarter. The Wildcats closed out the game with a 13-10 fourth quarter to take first game of the season series.

Gallasova led the Rangers in scoring with nine points.

Grace Lomen each registered six rebounds.
Alyssa Nelson tallied four assists. Makaylee Kuhn led the Wildcats with 18 points.
