KENOSHA, Wis. --- The University of Wisconsin-Parkside rebounded quickly on Saturday night, defeating Northwood by a final score of 66-52 less than 24 hours after their first loss of the 2022-23 season.

Colin O'Rourke led the team with 21 points on 9-13 shooting. He also recorded three blocks.

Ethan Ivan finished with 14 points, four rebounds and three steals.

The Rangers opened the game quickly, getting two quick baskets from O'Rourke. A three for Northwood pulled the Timberwolves back within two with 14:46 to go in the half, but Parkside had the answer. The Rangers followed with a 10-0 run which ballooned the lead to 22-10. Four different players scored during the run for Parkside. The run was capped off by a fast break layup by Palmer.
On two separate occasions, Northwood was able to cut the Parkside lead back to single digits in the first half, but threes by O'Rourke and Ivan kept the Timberwolves at bay. Ivan and O'Rourke combined for 27 of the teams 43 points in the first half, as Parkside shot 45.7 percent from the floor.
Parkside was able to add on in the second half, with the advantage reaching 21 on a Josiah Palmer three with 9:55 to go. Seven different Rangers scored in the second half, led by O'Rourke with six.
