HOW IT HAPPENED
The Eagles jumped out to an early lead in the 33rd minute with a goal from Haruki Kimara. A red card in the 38th minute left the Rangers with a 11-10 disadvantage for the rest of the match. In the 60th minute, Lars Popp scored a goal to tie the game, with the assist coming from Marcos Calderon Jimenez. The Eagles responded quickly, jumping ahead 2-1 with a 64th minute goal from Jake Grove. The Rangers evened the score again in the 81st minute, when a corner kick from Mario Bolado found Edgar Heredia Victoria for a goal. The Rangers would then take their first lead of the game in the 87th minute when Osvaldo Sanchez Arellano found the back of the net. The Rangers went up 3-2 and never looked back.

HEAR FROM COACH ZITZKE
"What a resilient group. That is right up there with one of the grittier efforts I have seen out of this program. Wow… On the road, playing a rested team with a good home crowd, lots of adversity, down a man, trailing twice. They just would not quit. All the credit goes to the effort of the guys and my assistant, Buran Huseini. In the second half, he switched things up, stayed positive, and told the team that they would remember this game. He nailed it and so did they. So proud of them. This was a great moment for the program. We will enjoy the ride home and then focus on the next game."
