The Parkside women's soccer team hosted Saginaw Valley State at Wood Road Field on Friday afternoon. The Cardinals controlled the match from the match for most of the 90 minutes and ran away with a shutout victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Cardinals got on the board in the 19
th minute with a breakaway goal from Stehpanie Strong. Jessie Falloon gave the Cardinals an insurance goal in the 42
nd minute to put SVSU up by two. In the second half, Strong scored her second goal of the day on a breakaway that was eerily similar to her goal in the first half. Madi Bajis closed out the scoring for the Cardinals with a goal in the 81
st minute.
STATWORTHY
The Rangers were out shot by the Cardinals 13-8, with only one Ranger shot being on goal.
Kelsey Gross made the start in goal, tallying five saves.
