OWENSBORO, Ky. - The Parkside Men's Golf team took home fifth place this weekend at the Kentucky Wesleyan Fall Invite at The Pearl Club in Owensboro, Kentucky. Steven Sanicki claimed his first individual medalist title in his career as well as recording the second lowest 36-hole total in school history.
Leading the Rangers was senior Steven Sanicki who kept the birdie train rolling with another under par round to take home individual medalist honors. Steven shot two-under 70 to finish five-under par and win by one shot.
Freshman Peter Blazevic followed with an even par 72 which is his new career best round. Blazevic finished in a tie for 17th, also his best finish to date. Senior Danny Sanicki finished the weekend with 76, good for a tie for 35th. Junior Aidan Webster shot 81 and finished tied for 50th. Rounding out the Rangers lineup was freshman Andrew Conrad with an 80 and finished tied for 56th.
McKendree took home the team title with a 565 after winning the team playoff over Southern Indiana.

NOTEWORTHY STATS
Webster finished one-under par on the par threes for the weekend. Steven Sanicki finished one-under par on the par fours and four-under on the par fives. Blazevic also finished four-under on the par fives for the tournament.
The Rangers led the field in total pars with 111 as a team.
