KENOSHA, Wis. – Reese Rossnagel broke the Parkside volleyball single game kill record during Friday's win against the McKendree Bearcats. The senior from Las Vegas, Nev. tallied an impressive 31 kills in the first game the Rangers played at the 2022 Midwest Region Crossover Tournament. Parkside went down 2-0 early against the Bearcats, but rallied in the second half of the match to earn the win in five sets. Rossnagel passes Bridget Nickel, who totaled the previous record of 26 kills back in 2013 against Anderson.
Rossnagel currently leads the Rangers in the 2022 season with 266 kills. She now has 881 kills in her collegiate career, placing her in ninth on the Parkside all-time kills leader board. Rossnagel will need to reach 910 kills to move past Nickel for eighth place.
