Ohio Dominican 3, Parkside 2 (17-25, 25-19, 23-25, 25-21, 15-13)
The Parkside volleyball team competed in the final day of the Midwest Crossover tournament. The Rangers faced the Ohio Dominican Panthers to close out their three-game series in the tournament. Parkside got out to an early advantage, but ultimately fell to the Panthers in five sets.

MATCH RECAP
The Rangers used a 6-0 run, fueled by an ace from Cayla Gutche, to jump out to a 19-14 lead. The Rangers went on to win the first set by eight points. Set 2 went in favor of the Panthers, as they used a 7-0 run to jump out to a 22-14 lead before winning the set 25-19. Both teams battled hard in the third set, finding themselves tied at 23-23 late in the set. A kill from Ava Irvin and a ball handling error for the Panthers put the Rangers up two sets to one. Set 4 was equally competitive, with both teams trading rallies until the set was tied 20-20. The Panthers then went on a 5-1 run to close out the set and force a fifth and final set. The Panthers surged in Set 5, going on a six-point rally and jumping out to a 13-7 lead. The Rangers clawed their way back with a pair of kills from Reese Rossnagel, but the damage had been done, allowing the Panthers to come away with the win.
