First year head coach
Nick Becker earned his first career dual win on Friday night as the No. 8 ranked Parkside wrestling team defeated Minot State 28-9 in De Simone Arena on Military Appreciation Night. The Rangers improved to 1-2 overall and 1-1 in the NSIC

Becker was a 3-time National Champion for Parkside and finished his career 89-0 after graduating in 2018.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Joseph Arroyo, the Rangers jumped out to a 4-0 lead after Arroyo beat Oscar Nellis in a 16-4 major decision. After the Beavers won at 133,
Cayden Henschel earned a decision and
Nathan Hensley won a major decision at 149 to put Parkside up 11-3 after four matches. MSU earned a decision at 157, but redshirt-junior No. 3
Shane Gantz improved to 20-0 this season with a 15-1 major decision at 165 pounds.

Rodsean Graham (major decision) put the match away for the Rangers. The Beavers were able to earn a decision at heavyweight.
