The Rangers closed out their season opening road trip with a match against the Lewis Flyers. Â After a strong first half for the Rangers, the Flyers made a last second comeback to force overtime, and later, a tie.

HOW IT HAPPENED
It took just over eight minutes for the Flyers to get on the scoreboard, jumping out to an early lead. In the 10th minute, redshirt-junior
Dejan Rokvic started the scoring rally for the Rangers with a goal which was assisted by senior
Max Ludwig and redshirt-junior
Rade Novakovich. In the 25
th minute, Novakovich found Ludwig to score and take the lead for the Rangers. In the 37
th minute, redshirt-freshman
Osvaldo Sanchez Arellano scored his first goal of the season. In the 86
th minute, the Flyers scored and regained momentum. The tying goal came from the Flyers in the 89
th minute, just moments before the end of regulation. Neither team could find the net in either of the overtime periods.
STATWORTHY
Max Ludwig's goal was his second on the season and he has now leads the team with five points on the year.Â
Rade Novakovich tallied his first two assists on the year and has tallied a total of four points this season.
WHAT'S NEXT FOR THE RANGERS
