HOW IT HAPPENED
It took just over 11 minutes for the Warriors to get on the scoreboard, jumping out to an early lead.  The lead did not last long, as freshman Isabelle Rivera scored a goal in the 15th minute.  In the 21st minute, freshman Laura Sanchez found senior Suly Perez for a go-ahead goal, and the Rangers never looked back.  In the 66th minute, freshman Abbey Canfield scored an insurance goal to put the Rangers up by two.

STATWORTHY
Rivera's goal was her first goal of the season and her second career goal, while Perez tallied her second career goal.  Laura Sanchez recorded her first assist of the year.  Abbey Canfield earned her first career goal on her first career shot.  Freshman Goal Keeper Mia Guyton recorded nine saves while allowing just one goal.

HEAR FROM COACH NIKOLIC
"I am really proud of the fight and determination the whole team put forth. This group has worked hard throughout preseason and was ready to get out on field today. We were very happy to see three goals in the back of the net and it's a great start for us."
