GAME 2: Parkside 6, Ferris State 6 (Suspended due to lightning in the top of the 7th)
After the Parkside softball team fell in game one, game two was stopped due to lightning at Case Softball Complex as the teams were tied 6-6 in the top of the seventh. The Rangers and Bulldogs will look to finish game two at Ferris State on April 30.

GAME 1 RECAP
The Rangers had the early 2-1 lead after three innings, but a 10-run Ferris State fourth inning was too much for Parkside to come back from.

Parkside was limited to five hits in game one, as sophomore
Alex Wooten hit her first home run of the season, sophomore
Dani Evans went 2-for-3 and senior Allison Haul went 1-for-2 with an RBI. Senior
Maegan Brookins went 1-for-3 with a stolen base out of the leadoff spot.

GAME 2 RECAP
The Rangers got all six of their runs in the bottom of the second inning, but Ferris State battled back to tie it up in the top of the sixth.

In the second inning, senior
Megan Aliverti led off with a double down the left field line and Hausl drilled a 2-run home run to make it 2-2. After back-to-back singles, Evans drove in a run and senior Jess Miklos hit a 2-run single that scored Evans and Brookins. The final run of the inning came in on an error.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Rangers will have two more doubleheaders this weekend, facing Northwood on Saturday, April 10 at noon/2 p.m. and Grand Valley State on Sunday, April 11 at noon/2 p.m.
