HOW IT HAPPENED
The duo of sophomore Vinson Sigmon Jr. and freshman Colin O'Rourke got the Rangers up early, but the Huskies answered the Rangers' run with a 15-0 run and never trailed again. MTU shot 14-of-25 from the floor in the first half and 7-of-15 from beyond the arc.

In the second half, the Rangers dropped the deficit to 18 points early on, but Michigan Tech never let the Rangers back into the game.

STATWORTHY
Sophomore Solomon Oraegbu led the Rangers with 14 points and seven rebounds while Sigmon Jr. had 12 points. Freshman Josiah Palmer had nine while senior Ramar Evans had five points and seven rebounds.

MTU finished 50-percent from the floor and 46.2-percent from beyond the arc. The Rangers finished 18-for-59 from the floor (30.5-percent) and 5-for-25 from downtown.
