DOWN THE STRETCH
After going down 50-40 in the first 2:00 of the second half, Parkside used a 16-5 run that was sparked by a pair of sophomore
Vinson Sigmon Jr. 3-pointers to take a 56-55 lead with 10:48 to play. Unfortunately for Parkside, GVSU used a 9-0 run after the Rangers' run and they never trailed again. Parkside stayed tough however, battling back to tie it again at 66-66, but the Lakers outscored Rangers 14-3 the rest of the way and iced the game away at the free throw line.
