KENOSHA, Wis. – The Parkside men's soccer team has earned a trip to the 2021 NCAA tournament and will host a match in the second round. The Rangers have earned the #3 seed in the super region and will face the #6 seed, Fort Hays State. The Rangers will face the Tigers on Sunday, Nov. 21, at noon at Pritchard Park in Racine, Wis.

The Rangers won the GLIAC regular season championship and the postseason tournament championship for the second time since Parkside joined the GLIAC. The Rangers finished the regular season with a record of 13-3-2. They tied and shared the regular season championship with the Davenport Panthers, who have earned the #10 seed in the super region. Parkside would later defeat Davenport 3-2 in the GLIAC Tournament championship on Sunday, Nov. 14, to clinch the title.
This is the Rangers first NCAA tournament bid since 2019. The Rangers were the #10 seed in 2019, and they made a first-round exit after falling to #7 Cedarville in penalty kicks. The Rangers look to continue their season and push for the program's single season record for wins. 2021 has seen the highest number of wins for the team since the 2000 season, when they went 17-5. The program record currently sits at 18, which has stood since 1989, when the Rangers went 18-4-1 and were the NAIA runner-up.
