The Rangers opened the weekend road trip with a match against the Northern Michigan Wildcats. The Wildcats controlled the game from the opening kickoff. They scored three goals in the first half, and added a fourth goal in the second. The goals were credited to Isabela Cardoso, who tallied two goals, Brooke Pietila, and Ashley Koch.

The Wildcats out shot the Rangers 34 to five, while shots on goal were 17 to four. Sophomore goalkeeper
Kelsey Gross saw her first action of the season, as she played the last 27 minutes and made six saves on as many shots.
WHAT'S NEXT FOR THE RANGERS
Parkside will head to Houghton, Mich. for a match against Michigan Tech on Sunday, Oct. 10. Kickoff is at noon. The Rangers next home game will be on Sunday, Oct. 24 against Northern Michigan.
