The Parkside women's soccer team was on the road for a Halloween matchup against the Northwood Timberwolves. Â The Rangers kept the Timberwolves close in the second half, but the Timberwolves pulled away for the win in the end.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Timberwolves got on the board first, with Abigail Fowler scoring in the 40
th minute. Juliana Paoletti added to the lead with a goal in the 60
th minute on a penalty kick. Jessica Piper extended the Timberwolves' lead to 3 with a goal in the 83
rd minute. Redshirt-junior
Myah Strokosch got the Rangers on the board in the 85
th minute, with freshman
Alexis Bolger being credited with the assist.
STATWORTHY
Strokosch earned her first goal of the season, and her fifth career goal. Bolger earned her fourth assist of the season. Freshman
Mia Guyton started in goal today for the Rangers, earning five saves on ten shots.
WHAT'S NEXT FOR THE RANGERS
Parkside will travel to Saginaw Valley State for a match against the Cardinals on Friday, Nov. 5. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. CST. The Rangers will recognize their seniors at their final home game on Sunday, Nov. 7.
