Saginaw Valley State 2, Parkside 0
The Rangers returned home for a GLIAC match against the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals. The Rangers held on to the Cardinals well, but in the end, the Cardinals were able to come away with the shut-out victory.  The first goal of the game came in the 14
th minute for the Cardinals off the foot of Amy Babon. The second Cardinals goal came in the 27
th minute and was scored by Stephanie Strong.

STATWORTHY
The Cardinals controlled the match offensively, firing 26 shots with 13 being on goal, while the Rangers were limited to eight shots, six of which were on goal. Freshman
Mia Guyton got the start in goal, tallying 11 saves. Freshmen Ally Fransisco and
Alexis Bolger both tallied two shots on goal, while freshmen Jamie Mohs and
Samantha Gablenz each had one shot on goal.
WHAT'S NEXT FOR THE RANGERS
Parkside will head to Grand Rapids, Mich. on Sunday, Oct. 3 for a match against the Davenport Panthers at noon. The Rangers next home game will be on Sunday, Oct. 24 against Northern Michigan.
