Brandon Hau had a season-high 18 points for the Rangers and hit what could've been the biggest shot of the night, a 3-pointer with 1:20 to play as the shot clock expired that put Parkside up four points.
The Rangers improved to 5-3 this season and have won three straight games while SVSU falls to 2-6 this year.Â

It was a game of runs in the first half, as Parkside used a 12-0 run to take a 27-14 lead with 9:31 to play.
Ramar Evans was a big part of the first half, where he scored 11 of his 14 points, all 11 of those came in the first 6:00 of the half. With Parkside leading 32-21, the Cardinals used a 14-0 run to take a 35-32 lead. Freshman
Colin O'Rourke hit a triple to tie it up 35-35 at the break.

In the second half, the teams changed the lead 12 times throughout a majority of the half. The Rangers grabbed a hold of the lead with 6:57 to play and didn't trail again. Parkside got key shots down the stretch from Hau, who finished an offensive rebound and put-back with 4:24 to play and hit the big 3-pointer with 1:20 to play. O'Rourke also hit a clutch tip-in with :24-seconds to play that put Parkside up 69-63.

Four Rangers finished in double-figures, including Hau, who went for a season-high 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting. Evans finished with a season-high 14 points and hit four triples while O'Rourke and Oraegbu each had 13 points. Senior

The Rangers shot 42.6-percent from the floor while the Cardinals finished at 47.3-percent. Parkside went +2 in rebounding and +2 in the turnover battle and got a big lift in 3-point shooting, finishing 12-of-35 while SVSU went 4-of-17. Parkside has now gone back-to-back games with 20+ assists.Â
