Parkside 58, Northern Michigan 55
After falling behind 15-0 to start the game, Parkside's six-game winning streak appeared to be in jeopardy. The Rangers fought back thanks to 20 second half points from the reigning GLIAC North Player of the Week
Alyssa Nelson. With 18 seconds remaining in the game, there was nothing to separate the two teams, as they were tied at 55. After a defensive stop and only 1.5 seconds remaining on the clock, the Rangers called a timeout. With one last shot to end the game in regulation, Parkside knew who they had to get the ball to. Nelson caught the ball off the inbounds, and hit the game winner to give the Rangers their seventh straight win.

DOWN THE STRETCH
After trailing the entire game, Parkside took their first lead in the third quarter, 40-39, on a made jumper by Nelson with 3:53 left in the frame. The jumper was part of a 13-0 Ranger run that eventually saw them grab a seven-point lead late in the third. The Wildcats made a run of their own early in the fourth quarter and tied the game up at 46. Down the stretch neither team could separate themselves, and the game was destined for overtime until Nelson's heroics.
