HOW IT HAPPENED
Unlike Thursday's win, Parkside got off to a nice start against the Wildcats, grabbing hold of a 13-4 advantage just over 5:00 into the game. Trimble subbed in at the 16:04 mark and hit a trio of 3-pointers within the first 5-minutes he was in. He finished with 17 points in the first half alone, helping the Rangers to a 44-29 lead at the break.

The closest Northern Michigan got in the second half was 10 points, thanks to big shots when they needed them and good team defense throughout.

WHO LED THE WAY
Trimble led all scorers with 25 and led all with eight rebounds as well. Joey St. Pierre finished with 14 points, five assists and three blocks on 7-of-8 shooting. Brandon Hau had 11 points and five rebounds while Solomon Oraegbu had eight points and five rebounds.

TEAM STATS
Parkside finished with a season-high in shooting percentage at 54.5%. They held the Wildcats to 42.6% shooting, went +12 in rebounding and had a season-low in turnovers (4).

WHAT'S NEXT
After winning their last two at home, Parkside will host a pair of home games next weekend before hitting the road. Wayne State visits De Simone Gymnasium on Thursday, Jan. 16 at 7:30 p.m. following by Ashland on Saturday, Jan. 18.
