"I'm thrilled to represent the GLIAC and the University on the D2ADA Board of Directors," Gavin said. "D2ADA is an important organization that positively impacts Division II. I'm excited to work with the Board of Directors and officers to continue to address important issues within our division and support our membership."
Gavin joined Parkside as the Director of Athletics in August of 2017 and has played a key role in revitalizing Parkside Athletics. Since taking over the athletics department, Gavin has guided Parkside to become a full-time member of the GLIAC, launched the Ranger Impact Fund and Parkside Athletics Corporate Partners Program, overseen facility improvements including the Jim Koch Wrestling Center and Duane McLean '86 Sports Leadership Center, and hired more than 30 new employees including more than a dozen graduate assistants.
