KENOSHA, Wis. – Parkside Director of Athletics Adam Schemm '08 has announced the promotion of Amanda Troup '19, '21 to Assistant Athletic Director for Student Athlete Success.

"We are grateful to have Amanda as a part of our administrative team," said Schemm. "She deeply cares for the well-being of our student-athletes, she has an unmatched work ethic, and bleeds Parkside through and through. She has completely earned this opportunity."

The former Parkside track and field and cross country standout athlete has been serving as the Athletics Academic Advisor since August of 2023.

"I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to grow within Parkside Athletics." "As a former Ranger Athlete, I am honored to work with our current student-athletes to help them thrive and achieve their academic goals while pursuing their athletic passions!"

During her time at Parkside, Troup has helped the Parkside Athletic department maintain a standard of success in the classroom. Most recently the department posted a 3.30 GPA in the spring of 2026, with 13 programs recording a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. Under her guidance, Parkside Athletics has consistently seen 80% or more of the student-athletes achieve GPA's of 3.0 or above and over 60% of the student-athletes earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
