SVSU took both games of Parkside softball's second home doubleheader of the year, winning 14-2 in game one and taking game two 13-1. The Rangers are home this weekend on Saturday and Sunday for a pair of doubleheaders.

GAME 1: SVSU 14, Parkside 2
The Cardinals pounded out 19 hits, while the teams combined for nine errors in the opener. SVSU kept building on the lead throughout the day, and used a six-run seventh inning to pull away.

The Rangers added one in the third and one in the seventh, coming off an
Adrien Hall RBI groundout and a RBI fielder's choice, respectively.

While Hall drove in both of the Rangers runs, Fenza went 3-for-4 in the leadoff spot.

GAME 2: SVSU 13, Parkside 1
It was all Cardinals in game two, as they used an 11-run fourth inning to pull away with the big win. The Rangers got a run back in the bottom of the fifth as
Morgan Sikon drove in
Cassie Walek with an RBI single to right field.

In game two,
Morgan Moore went 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles while five other Rangers had hits. Parkside gave us two earned runs in game two.
