Brandon Hau had a huge game for the Parkside men's basketball team in their win over East-West, as he finished with career-highs in points (25), and rebounds (15) while adding two blocks and two steals. The Rangers extended their home winning streak to 14 games, tying them with Daemen College for the sixth-best active home winning streak in NCAA Division II.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rangers started out hot on Saturday, opening the game on a 10-0 run after back-to-back 3-pointers by
Brandon Trimble and Hau. Parkside also used a 14-0 run to jump out to a 27-11 advantage with 7:46 to play in the first half. A late Trimble triple helped the Green & White head to the locker room with a 42-26 advantage.

In the second half, the Phantoms got the deficit down to 13 points with 8:06 play, but the Rangers kept their foot on the gas and pushed the lead back to 20 points. Parkside ended the game with eight unanswered points to close it out.

STAT LEADERS
After Hau's big game, Trimble also had a nice game as well, going for 20 points and a career-high nine rebounds. Three other Rangers finished in double-figures with
Linwood Lee (15),
Ramar Evans (12) and
Solomon Oraegbu (12).

Parkside finished shooting 51.6% from the floor while holding the Phantoms to 38%. The Rangers got a huge lift from the free-throw line, where the team finished 21-of-22.

WHAT'S NEXT
Parkside will welcome in Judson on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 3 p.m. for the final game before conference play begins. The Rangers hit the road for a tough stretch after that however, taking on Grand Valley State, Davenport and Findlay before their conference home opener against Purdue Northwest on Saturday, Dec. 21.
