Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Rangers Fall 1-0 to Michigan Tech

Michigan Tech 1, Parkside 0
Tough field conditions and a motived Michigan Tech stopped the Rangers from getting their first GLIAC win of the season. The loss brings them to 5-10-1 on the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Despite Parkside applying more pressure on the day, the Huskies came up with the only goal. It was an early in the first half when Michigan Tech's Neve Badalow found the ball in the box and put it home. The Rangers fought hard, but came up short in finding an equalizer.

A LOOK AT THE BOX SCORE
Senior Jazmin Castanon led the Rangers in attack, as she had five shots with three on goal. Others that led Parkside were senior Viktoria Silva, junior Delaney Benich, and Freshman Alexis Baker, who each had three shots.

The Rangers outshot Michigan Tech in the game, taking 18 shots with five on goal while Michigan Tech took 12 with six on goal. The two teams were even in other team statistics, as they had five saves and 8 fouls a piece.
