The Rangers offense was held in check against Purdue Northwest, as they to failed to score, dropping their third straight game.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
Neither team could separate themselves in the first half, as they went to the break tied 0-0. The Pride changed that quickly out of the break and scored the games lone goal in the 54^th minute. The goal was scored by Purdue Northwest's Shonali Pierce.
 
STATWORTHY
In attack, Parkside was led by freshman Alexis Baker, who took four shots with one on goal. Junior Delaney Benich was second for the Rangers in shots with three, and one being on goal. Senior goalkeeper Adrianna Bratel was busy in goal, saving six shots.
 
The Rangers were outshot on the day, taking 12 shots to the Pride's 19. The fouls committed on the day were even, with each team committing seven.
 
WHAT'S NEXT
The Rangers will look to get their first GLIAC win when they come home to take on Michigan Tech on Friday, Nov. 1 at 11 a.m. Parkside will stay home for the weekend and take on Northern Michigan on Sunday, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m.
 
A BUSY WEEKEND
Friday, Nov. 1 will mark the start of a busy weekend for Parkside Soccer, as it marks their VIPS day. The VIPS Program presented by Gateway Mortgage allows Parkside student-athletes to recognize and celebrate a professor or staff member of their choice for the impact they've had on their experience as a student-athlete at UW-Parkside. Then, on Sunday, Nov. 3, both soccer teams will be recognizing their seniors on senior day. Parkside Soccer is inviting their alumni to come celebrate with a pre-game alumni tailgate starting at 10 a.m. The tailgate will feature drinks and snacks provided by Parkside Athletics and the UW-Parkside A'viands catering team. All alumni and their guest(s) that register before next Friday, Nov. 1 at noon will receive free entry to the women's and men's soccer games.
