Friday's match didn't turn out how the Rangers wanted, as they dropped their third straight GLIAC game in a 4-0 loss to #3 Grand Valley State.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The match marked the first GLIAC game for the Lakers, and they came out firing. Their first goal of the game came in the 9
th minute when Sydney O'Donnell slotted one into the Parkside net. After scoring, Grand Valley State kept their foot on the gas and added two more goals before the 16
th minute was over. Staring at an early 3-0 deficit in the 17
th minute, Parkside started to settle in to the game and played the Lakers to a halt until the 89
th minute, when Grand Valley State broke through for their fourth and final goal.

STATWORTHY
Freshman
Izzy Guyer had a standout day for the Rangers, recording a career-high 12 saves. Another Freshman,
Alexis Baker, led the attack for Parkside, registering the teams only shot on goal.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Rangers will look to get their first GLIAC win as they continue their road-trip at Davenport on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 10 a.m. Following, Parkside will stay on the road and take on Ferris State on Friday, Oct. 18 at 3 p.m.
