Rangers Tie at Davenport

The Rangers came close to their first GLIAC win, but 120 minutes wasn't enough to separate them from Davenport, as neither team found the back of the net in regulation or overtime. With the tie, Parkside moves to 5-6-1 overall, and 0-3-1 in conference play.
 
A LOOK AT THE BOX SCORE
The two teams battled, but Parkside found themselves defending 22 shots from Davenport with nine on goal, while they took seven shots with five on goal. The Rangers took three corners in the game to the Panthers nine.
 
Senior Jazmin Castanon spearheaded the attack for the Rangers as she took a team-leading three shots, all of them coming on goal. Senior Kaylee Siegel and freshman Alexis Baker were the other two Rangers to register a shot on goal. Freshman goalkeeper Izzy Guyer had another strong performance for Parkside, saving nine shots in the contest.
 
WHAT'S NEXT
The Rangers next game will be the third of their five-game road-trip, as they will travel to Ferris State on Friday, Oct. 18 at 3 p.m. Their fourth will come against Northwood on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 11 a.m. in Midland, Mich.
