Parkside volleyball hit the road to face head coach
Leigh Barea's alma mater on Tuesday night, but the No. 6 ranked Flyers were able to take care of Parkside after a 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-18) win. The Rangers will look forward to Pink Weekend coming up on Oct. 4 and 5.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rangers battled in the first set, but the Flyers pulled away in the end and took a 1-0 lead with a 25-20 win in the first set. In the second, the Rangers hung tough early, but Lewis eventually took over a nice lead and cruised to the 25-16 win. The Flyers clinched it with the 25-18 in the third.

Reese Rossnagel led the Rangers with six kills while sophomores
Alivia Marks and
Jazmine Neal each had four. Freshman
Alysha Brickl led the way with 10 assists while

Parkside welcomes in Davenport and Grand Valley State on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m., respectively. This weekend is Pink Weekend for Parkside Athletics, with events going on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
