FERRIS STATE 74, PARKSIDE 60
After holding the Ferris State Bulldogs to nine points in the third quarter and getting within two points in fourth, the Rangers were unable to come out victorious. Redshirt-senior Blair Arthur led the team with 18 points and nine rebounds.
HEAR FROM COACH CONELY
"It was a tough loss for us today," first year head coach Jen Conley said. "I thought their full court press took us out of our rhythm offensively."
"I was proud of how we battled back to make it a two-point game," Conely stated. "I thought Ali and Blair made big shots to get us going in the third quarter."
"When we play Parkside basketball, it is really fun to watch, but we can't dig ourselves into a hole, especially on the road," Conely added. "We're continuing to work on putting together a whole game and are looking forward to returning to Desimone next weekend."
FIRST HALF
To start the game, the Bulldogs went on an 11-2 run until senior Georgie Eishold made a 3-point shot at 4:27. The Bulldogs held the Ranger offense from scoring again until 3:29 off a Bettencourt layup, all while Ferris State went on another 9-0 run.
