Parkside 2, Davenport 1
HEAR FROM COACH NIKOLIC
"We had a great team effort today," said head coach
Brittany Nikolic. "We showed fight and discipline throughout 90 minutes."
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rangers added a goal to the scoreboard in the 19th minute when sophomore
Delaney Benich was able to steal the ball from the keeper and slot it into the back of the net. Davenport then scored on Parkside off a header goal, but senior
Chloe Couves soon earned her fourth goal of the season in the 31st minute. The ball was crossed into the box and after Davenport wasn't able to clear the ball, Couves finished the opportunity, scoring the game-winner for the match.
