TWO ROAD GAMES, TWO VICTORIES
The Ranger offense came out hungry, earning a corner kick within the first two minutes of play. In the 19th minute, senior
Brandon Henderson scored his first goal of the season off a low cross from junior
Stevi Krecak. The game would remain 1-0 for the rest of the first half.
In the 75th minute, red-shirt junior
Leki Prpa added his fourth goal of the season with a one-touch volley into the net with his back to the goal. Henderson assisted Prpa's goal which put the Rangers up 2-0 with 15 minutes remaining in the game.
STATWORTHY
Both Parkside and Ashland tallied 16 shots in the match and junior goalkeeper
Juan Gonzalez made nine saves, once again earning a clean sheet. Ranger offense created seven corner kick opportunities while only giving up one corner to the Eagles. There were five yellow cards in the match, four to Parkside and one to Ashland.

COMING HOME
The Rangers will be home this weekend to compete against Northwood this Friday, Sept. 21 at noon. Parkside takes on Northern Michigan the following Sunday, Sept. 23 at noon as well.
