In game one, Parkside took an early 3-0 lead, but the Drury pitching staff tightened up after the fist inning, holding the Rangers scoreless for the rest of the way. In the first inning, Megan Aliverti drove in Jessica Shields with an RBI single through the left side to make it 1-0. Crockett followed that with a sacrifice fly to center that scored Kellie Fenza and Adrien Hall hit a sacrifice fly that scored Aliverti to make it 3-0.

Drury came back to plate a run in the second, two in the fourth, two in the fifth and one in the seventh to come away with the win. Aliverti and Jessica Miklos each went 2-for-3 while Fenza went 1-for-4 with a run. Jost got the start in game one, throwing 1.0 innings while Allison Hausl finished out the final 6.0 innings.

In game two, Drury was the team that took the early lead and was able to hang out the rest of the way with the Rangers making it close. The Panthers led 5-0 before the Rangers broke through in the bottom of the fifth inning. Fenza drilled a two-run double to left center and Aliverti brought Fenza in with an RBI single, making it 5-3.

In the seventh inning, Jessica Shields led off with a walk and ended up scoring on an RBI single by Crockett, bringing the Green & White within one run. Adrien Hall reached on a fielding error by the first baseman that put the tying run at second base and the winning run at first, but a strikeout ended the ball game.

Shields went 2-for-2 with two runs and a double while Crockett finished 2-for-3 and Fenza went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI.

The Rangers will host Missouri S&T on Sunday, April 29 for Pinkout Day hosted by Ascension.
